West System 404-B High Density Filler

#ad
West System #ad - Blending too much filler into epoxy can trap air. Even small amounts of this 404-high density added to a blend of epoxy resin and hardener will reduce creep in the cured epoxy. Blended with epoxy for an excellent gap filler, G/flex Epoxy 650, or wherever you need an especially strong bond.

Hardware or stud bonding is a popular use of this filler. It will strongly bond wood joints, saving you the time and labor involved in crafting tight joinery. Blend it into any west system 105 resin/20X Hardener combination, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive. The chart below offers guidelines to the differences between neat unthickened epoxy and three popular consistencies of thickened epoxy: "catsup, " and "peanut butter. ". For maximum strength add only enough filler to completely bridge gaps between surfaces without sagging or running out of the joint, pilot hole, or when hardware is inserted.

A small amount should squeeze out of the joints when clamped, don’t fill the mixing cup more than 1/3 full of epoxy before adding filler. It should be thick enough to stay in a horizontal hole, but not too thick. For thick mixtures, or gap. It should be thick enough to stay in a horizontal hole, but not too thick. For hardware bonding, " "mayonnaise, mix 404 high-Density filler into epoxy to create a moderately loose slurry.

It adheres to a number of surfaces including wood, leather, and paper. One-to-one mix, epoxy resin/hardener system for quick repairs, no pumps required. Fast curing 2-part epoxy allows 3-5 minutes of working time. G/5 is an excellent choice for quick repairs around the house, plaster, fiberglass, cork, metal, stone, some plastics, ceramic, glass, high-end crafts and much more. Adding g/5 to other west system epoxies can speed their cure time.

May be used in spot applications to hold parts in position while standard epoxy bonds cure. Since this very quick-cure epoxy is not as strong or waterproof as our 105 Resin-based epoxies or G/flex epoxies, Additives, G/5 will reduce the cured physical properties of other epoxies when blended with them. Not recommended for long-term bonds subject to high loads or moisture. Best for projects that will remain dry and are not subject to high loads.
